George & Marcia		George and Marcia have been residents of Potomac Green since 2014. Marcia is a retired music teacher and serves as the accompanist for the Potomac Green Chorale, where George is a member. George was a manager at Philadelphia Electric before retiring from a second career teaching high school math and computer science. They are avid golfers and may be seen running and walking throughout the community and lifting weights in the fitness center. They also enjoy spending time with their daughter and her family who live in McLean.
Bruce & Helen		Residents of Potomac Green since 2015, this couple volunteer at many community events, including the Wednesday morning coffees. Bruce is the chair of the Potomac Green Community Association Finance Committee. Helen is a member of the Social and Modifications Committees. They may often be seen walking for exercise on the sidewalks and trails of the community. They also enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren who live in Virginia and Maryland.
Dee		Although Dee and her husband Brian only moved to Potomac Green in 2019, her impact on the community has already been felt. Beginning in 2020, Dee and her neighbor Bob Chaves have provided a series of free concerts, first on their street, and then on the community center lawn, performing as the duo Part of the Crowd. Dee also sings with the Reston Chorale and Potomac Green’s community band. A retired kindergarten teacher, Dee’s volunteer activities include her church, the Humane Society of Loudoun County and the Kennedy Center.
John & Betty		John and Betty moved to the Potomac Green condos in 2016. Since that time John has served on the condo finance committee and on the condo board where he is currently Treasurer. He has also been a member of the Potomac Green Community Association Finance and Infrastructure Committees. Betty is very active in the Adventures Group, organizing trips to Annapolis and the Van Gogh immersive experience, among other outings. They also enjoy visiting with their daughter and her family who live in Broadlands and their son in Baltimore.
Sylvia		An accomplished singer, Sylvia has been a member of the Potomac Green Chorale since moving here in 2016. She has contributed beautiful solos to the chorale concerts. An international traveler, Sylvia was a member of the Hong Kong Oratorio Society. She has also sung overseas with the Shiloh Baptist Church Choir of Washington, D.C. She is usually seen with her dog Sydney. Sylvia enjoys visiting with her daughter and her family, who live in Ashburn.
